Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
सेन्द्रेषु चैव लोकेषु प्रतिष्ठां विन्दते शुभाम् इह लोके यश: प्राप्प शान्तपाप्मा च मोदते
sendreṣu caiva lokeṣu pratiṣṭhāṁ vindate śubhām | iha loke yaśaḥ prāpya śāntapāpmā ca modate ||
Vasiṣṭha dit : Dans les mondes présidés par Indra et les autres gardiens, il obtient rang et honneur de bon augure. Et ici même, en ce monde, ayant acquis une bonne renommée, il vit dans la joie — ses fautes apaisées et sa conscience en paix.
