Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
नेदं धारयितुं शक्ता: समस्ता इति मे मतिः । तेज:प्रभावनिर्दग्धं॑ तस्मात् सर्वमिदं जगत्
nedaṃ dhārayituṃ śaktāḥ samastā iti me matiḥ | tejaḥprabhāvanirdagdhaṃ tasmāt sarvam idaṃ jagat ||
Bhishma dit : «À mon jugement, même tous ensemble, ils ne sont pas capables de supporter cette (ta) radiance. C’est pourquoi ce monde entier serait brûlé et réduit en cendres par la puissance ardente de cette splendeur.»
