Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
पूयन्ते तत्र नियतं प्रयच्छन्तो वसुन्धराम् । सर्वे च कथिता धर्मास्त्वया मे कुरुनन्दन,उनमें वे ही पवित्र होते हैं जो नियमपूर्वक पृथ्वीका दान करते हैं। कुरुनन्दन! आपने मुझसे समस्त धर्मोंका वर्णन किया है
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca |
pūyante tatra niyataṃ prayacchanto vasundharām |
sarve ca kathitā dharmās tvayā me kurunandana |
Yudhiṣṭhira dit : «Dans ce séjour, ceux qui, avec une discipline régulière, donnent la terre en aumône sont assurément purifiés. Ô joie des Kuru, tu m’as exposé tous les devoirs du dharma.»
युधिछिर उवाच
Regular, disciplined charity—especially the gift of land (a foundational resource for livelihood)—is presented as a powerful purifier, and dharma is framed as something to be learned through systematic instruction from an elder authority.
