प्रजातान्येव भूतानि प्राक्रोशन् वृत्तिकांक्षया । वृत्तिदं चान्वपद्यन्त तृषिता: पितृमातृवत्
Translation
Bhīṣma dit : « À peine nés, tous les êtres se mirent à crier, désireux d’un moyen de subsistance. Et, tels des enfants affamés et assoiffés qui vont vers leur père et leur mère, ainsi toutes les créatures se tournèrent vers Dakṣa, dispensateur du vivre. »
