Gopradāna–Bhūmidāna Guidelines and Recipient Eligibility
घृतं मासे आश्वयुजि विप्रेभ्यो यः प्रयच्छति । तस्मै प्रयच्छतो रूप॑ प्रीतौ देवाविहाश्विनौ
ghṛtaṃ māse āśvayuje viprebhyo yaḥ prayacchati | tasmai prayacchato rūpaṃ prītau devāv ihāśvinau ||
Bhīṣma dit : Celui qui, au mois d’Āśvayuja, offre du ghee en don aux brāhmaṇas, les jumeaux Aśvin, médecins divins, satisfaits de l’offrande, lui accordent ici même, en ce monde, beauté et grâce.
