पूपान्‌ पुनर्वसौ दत्त्वा तथैवान्नानि शो भने । यशस्वी रूपसम्पन्नो बद्धन्नो जायते कुले

Transliteration

pūpān punarvasau dattvā tathaivānnāni śobhane | yaśasvī rūpasampanno baddhānno jāyate kule ||

Translation

Nārada dit : «En offrant des gâteaux sucrés (pūpa) au temps de Punarvasu, et en donnant aussi de la nourriture, on renaît dans une lignée noble, pourvu de renommée et de beauté.»
