नारद उवाच कृत्तिकासु महा भागे पायसेन ससर्पिषा । संतर्प्य ब्राह्मणान्‌ साधूँल्‍लोकानाप्रोत्यनुत्तमान्‌

nārada uvāca kṛttikāsu mahābhāge pāyasena sasarpīṣā | saṃtarpya brāhmaṇān sādhūn lokān āprāpya anuttamān ||

Nārada dit : «Ô dame hautement fortunée, sous Kṛttikā, en offrant aux brāhmanes —vertueux et dignes de recevoir— du pāyasa, riz au lait sucré mêlé de ghee, tu les rassasieras comme il se doit, et par là tu atteindras les mondes les plus élevés.»
