स्वात्यामथ धन दत्त्वा यदिष्टतममात्मन: । प्राप्रोति लोकान् स शुभानिह चैव महद् यश:
Transliteration
Svātyām atha dhanaṃ dattvā yad iṣṭatamam ātmanaḥ | prāpnoti lokān sa śubhān iha caiva mahad yaśaḥ ||
Translation
Nārada dit : Le jour de la demeure lunaire Svātī, si quelqu’un fait l’aumône de ses biens—surtout de ce qui lui est le plus cher—il atteint des mondes favorables dans l’au-delà et, même en cette vie, reçoit une grande renommée.
