ब्रवीमि सत्यमेतच्च यथाहं पाण्डुनन्दन । तेन सत्येन गच्छेयं लोकान्‌ यत्र च शान्तनु:

Transliteration

bravīmi satyam etac ca yathāhaṃ pāṇḍunandana | tena satyena gaccheyaṃ lokān yatra ca śāntanuḥ ||

Translation

Bhīṣma dit : «Ô fils de Pāṇḍu, je dis ceci en vérité, tel que cela est. Par la puissance de cette vérité, puisse-je atteindre les mondes où mon père Śāntanu est allé.»
