Adhyāya 60: Dāna vs. Yajña—Royal Giving, Protection, and Karmic Share
पुरुषप्रवर! तब शक्तिशाली राजा युधिष्ठिरने पाण्डवोंसे कहा--“वीरमार्गके विषयमें पितामहका जो कथन है, उसीमें तुम सब लोगोंकी रुचि होनी चाहिये' ।।
tatas tu pāṇḍavāḥ sarve draupadī ca yaśasvinī | yudhiṣṭhirasya tad vākyaṃ bāḍham ity abhipūjayan ||
Ô le plus éminent des hommes ! Le puissant roi Yudhiṣṭhira dit aux Pāṇḍava : «Quant à la voie du guerrier, que vous plaisent les paroles mêmes qu’a prononcées le Grand-Père (Bhīṣma).» Alors tous les Pāṇḍava, avec l’illustre Draupadī, honorèrent ces mots de Yudhiṣṭhira en répondant : « Très bien ; qu’il en soit ainsi. »
