Adhyāya 57: Tapas–Dāna Phala
On the Fruits of Austerity and Giving
इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत अनुशासनपर्वके अन्तर्गत दानधर्मपर्वमें च्यवन और कुशिकका संवादविषयक तिरपनवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
Iti prakāraśrīmahābhārata anuśāsanaparvake antargata dānadharmaparvame cyavana-kuśikayoḥ saṃvādaviṣayakaḥ tripañcāśattamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ.
Ainsi s’achève le cinquante-troisième chapitre, consacré au dialogue entre Cyavana et Kuśika, au sein de la section du Dānadharma de l’Anuśāsana Parva du vénérable Mahābhārata. Ce colophon marque l’achèvement d’un enseignement portant sur l’éthique du don et sur les normes du dharma selon lesquelles se mesure la générosité.
