Adhyāya 57: Tapas–Dāna Phala
On the Fruits of Austerity and Giving
तस्मिन् विमाने सौवर्णे मणिस्तम्भसमाकुले । महाहें शयने दिव्ये शयानं भूगुनन्दनम्
tasmin vimāne sauvarṇe maṇistambhasamākule | mahāheṃśayane divye śayānaṃ bhṛgunandanam ||
Bhīṣma dit : «Là, dans ce palais aérien d’or, foisonnant de colonnes serties de joyaux, je vis l’illustre descendant de Bhṛgu étendu sur une couche divine, splendide.»
