Varṇasaṃkara: Causes, Classifications, and Conduct-based Recognition (वर्णसंकरः—हेतु-जाति-आचारनिर्णयः)
असूयवस्त्वधर्मिष्ठा: परस्वादायिन: शठा: । आसुरादधिसम्भूता धर्माद् विषमवृत्तय:
asūyavas tv adharmiṣṭhāḥ parasvādāyinaḥ śaṭhāḥ | āsurād adhisambhūtā dharmād viṣamavṛttayaḥ ||
Bhīṣma dit : «Ceux qui naissent d’un mariage de type āsura ont tendance à chercher les fautes d’autrui, à s’enfoncer dans l’adharma, à s’approprier les biens d’autrui, à user de tromperie, et à se porter vers une conduite contraire au dharma.»
