Śulka, Kanyā, and Dauhitra-Riktha: Discourse on Bride-Price and Inheritance Rights (शुल्क-कन्या-दौहित्र-रिक्थविचारः)
लोभमास्थाय योअस्माकं विषमं कर्तुमुत्सहेत् । विपुलस्य परे लोके या गतिस्तामवाप्लुयात्
lobham āsthāya yo ’smākaṁ viṣamaṁ kartum utsahet | vipulasya pare loke yā gatis tām avāpluyāt ||
Bhīṣma dit : «Quiconque parmi nous, prenant appui sur la cupidité, osera agir avec fraude, connaîtra le même sort que celui qui attend Vipula dans l’autre monde.»
