Śulka, Kanyā, and Dauhitra-Riktha: Discourse on Bride-Price and Inheritance Rights (शुल्क-कन्या-दौहित्र-रिक्थविचारः)
सा भरत्रें सर्वमाचष्ट रुचि: सुरुचिरानना । भगिन्या भाषितं सर्वमृषिस्तच्चा भ्यनन्दत
sā bhartrē sarvam ācāṣṭa ruciḥ surucirānanā | bhaginyā bhāṣitaṃ sarvam ṛṣis tac cābhyānandat ||
Bhishma dit : De retour à l’ermitage, Ruci, au visage d’une grande beauté, rapporta à son époux tout ce que sa sœur avait dit. En l’entendant, le sage s’en réjouit et consentit à la demande.
