Pūjya-namaskārya-prakaraṇa
On Those Worthy of Honor and Salutation
त॑ सहस्रावरे काले शक्रो द्रष्टमुपागमत् । तदेव च पुनर्वाक्यमुवाच बलवृत्रहा
taṁ sahasrāvare kāle śakro draṣṭum upāgamat | tad eva ca punar vākyam uvāca balavṛtrahā ||
Bhīṣma dit : Lorsque la période de mille ans touchait presque à son terme, Śakra (Indra), le tueur de Vṛtra et seigneur des dieux, revint le voir. Et, une fois encore, il lui répéta les mêmes paroles qu’il avait dites auparavant, pressant de nouveau la question au bout de ce long intervalle.
