मेरो: समुद्रस्य च सर्वयत्नै: संख्योपलानामुदकस्य वापि | शक्यं वक्तुं नेह गड़ाजलानां गुणाख्यानं परिमातुं तथैव

Transliteration

meroḥ samudrasya ca sarvayatnaiḥ saṅkhyopalānām udakasya vāpi | śakyaṃ vaktuṃ neha gaṅgājalānāṃ guṇākhyānaṃ parimātuṃ tathaiva ||

Translation

Le Siddha dit : Quand bien même on déploierait tous les efforts possibles, il serait peut-être faisable d’énoncer le nombre des cailloux du mont Meru et même de compter les gouttes de l’océan ; mais ici, raconter et mesurer les vertus des eaux de la Gaṅgā n’est jamais réellement possible.
