Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
कृताशं कृतनिर्देशं कृतभक्तं कृतश्रमम् । भेदैयें व्यपकर्षन्ति ते वै निरयगामिन:
kṛtāśaṃ kṛtanirdeśaṃ kṛtabhaktaṃ kṛtaśramam | bhedair enaṃ vyapakarṣanti te vai nirayagāminaḥ ||
Bhishma dit : Ceux qui, en semant la discorde, font chasser du service de son maître un serviteur laborieux—retenu à gages, nourri de l’espoir d’être payé et lié par un terme fixé—avant que ce terme ne soit accompli, sont assurément voués à l’enfer. L’enseignement condamne l’exploitation du travail par la tromperie et l’intrigue comme une grave atteinte au dharma.
