Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
निवेशनानां क्षेत्राणां वसतीनां च भारत । दातार: प्रार्थितानां च ते नरा: स्वर्गगामिन:,भरतनन्दन! जो याचकोंकी याचनाके अनुसार घर, खेत और गाँव प्रदान करते हैं, वे मनुष्य स्वर्गलोकमें जाते हैं
niveśanānāṃ kṣetrāṇāṃ vasatīnāṃ ca bhārata | dātāraḥ prārthitānāṃ ca te narāḥ svargagāminaḥ ||
Bhīṣma dit : «Ô Bhārata, ceux qui, lorsqu’on les sollicite, accordent des demeures, des champs et des lieux d’habitation selon la demande des suppliants—de tels donateurs atteignent le ciel.»
