Marks of a Worthy Recipient and Stable Criteria of Dharma
गृहमागत्य विश्रान्त: स्वजनं परिपृच्छय च । अभ्यगच्छच्च तं विप्रं न््यायत: कुरुनन्दन,कुरुनन्दन! घर आकर उन्होंने विश्राम किया और स्वजनोंसे पूछकर वे न्यायानुसार फिर ब्राह्मण वदान्यके घर गये
gṛham āgatya viśrāntaḥ svajanaṃ paripṛcchya ca | abhyagacchac ca taṃ vipraṃ nyāyataḥ kurunandana ||
Bhishma dit : De retour chez lui, après s’être reposé et s’être enquis auprès des siens, il repartit—selon ce qui est juste—vers ce brahmane, ô joie des Kuru. Le vers souligne un retour délibéré à la conduite droite : le repos et la consultation précèdent le choix conscient d’agir avec équité et bienséance envers l’hôte savant.
