सर्व तुदति तत्पापं भावयज्छिवमात्मना । “समस्त लक्षणोंसे हीन अथवा सब पापोंसे युक्त मनुष्य भी यदि अपने हृदयसे भगवान् शिवका ध्यान करता है तो वह अपने सारे पापोंको नष्ट कर देता है
sarvaṁ tudati tat pāpaṁ bhāvayac chivam ātmanā
Vāyu dit : «Le péché qui tourmente l’homme de toutes parts est détruit lorsque l’on contemple le Seigneur Śiva de tout son être intérieur. Même celui qui est dépourvu de tout signe favorable, ou accablé de nombreux péchés, s’il médite sur Śiva du fond du cœur, brûle ses fautes accumulées.»
