(Rudra-Stavarāja) — Exempla of Śiva’s Boons and the Hymn’s Phalaśruti
Steady, disciplined devotion—reciting a hymn with sincere effort, consistently and reverently (especially near the deity)—is presented as a dharmic practice that yields the devotee’s desired result (īpsita-phala).
Vāyu is instructing the listener about the efficacy of a specific stotra to Rudra/Śiva: if a bhakta recites it regularly in Śiva’s presence for a full year, the promised fruit is attained.
