सिद्धा ब्रद्मर्षयश्चैव साधु साथ्विति हर्षिता: । उस समय देवताओंकी दुन्दुभियाँ बज उठीं और साथ ही दिव्य पुष्पोंकी वर्षा होने लगी। सिद्धों तथा ब्रह्मर्षियोंको बड़ा हर्ष हुआ। वे भीष्मजीको साधुवाद देने लगे
siddhā brahmarṣayaś caiva sādhu sādhv iti harṣitāḥ | tadā devatānāṃ dundubhayo vāditāḥ saha divyapuṣpavṛṣṭiś ca pravavṛte | siddhānāṃ ca brahmarṣīṇāṃ ca mahān harṣaḥ samajāyata | te’pi bhīṣmaṃ sādhuvādena praśaśaṃsu |
Vaiśampāyana dit : « Les Siddhas et les Brahmarṣis, transportés de joie, s’écrièrent : “Bien ! Bien !” En cet instant, les timbales des dieux retentirent, et une pluie de fleurs célestes se mit à tomber. Les Siddhas et les grands voyants furent comblés d’allégresse et louèrent Bhīṣma par des paroles d’approbation. »
