Transliteration

saṁskṛtya ca kuruśreṣṭhaṁ gāḍeyaṁ kurusattamāḥ

Translation

Vaiśaṃpāyana dit : «Après avoir dûment préparé et purifié celui qui était le plus éminent des Kurus, les meilleurs de la lignée Kuru poursuivirent avec une résolution inébranlable.»
