रज्जयस्व प्रजा: सर्वा: प्रकृती: परिसान्त्वय । सुहृद: फलसत्कारैरर्चयस्व यथाहत:

Transliteration

rajjayasva prajāḥ sarvāḥ prakṛtīḥ parisāntvaya | suhṛdaḥ phala-satkārair arcayasva yathāhataḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśaṃpāyana dit : « Garde tous tes sujets satisfaits et fidèles ; rassure et concilie les ministres et les autres éléments constitutifs du royaume. Honore comme il convient ceux qui te veulent du bien, par des dons de fruits et une hospitalité respectueuse, selon leur mérite. »
