Anuśāsana-parva 17
उग्रो वंशकरो वंशों वंशनादो हाुनिन्दित: । सर्वाड्ररूपो मायावी सुहदो हुनिलोडनल:
vāyudeva uvāca | ugro vaṁśakaro vaṁśo vaṁśanādo 'ninditaḥ | sarvāṅgarūpo māyāvī suhṛd anilo 'nalaḥ ||
Vāyudeva dit : « Il est Ugra—farouche, prenant une forme terrifiante au temps de la dissolution ; fondateur de la lignée et lignée elle-même ; celui dont le son de la flûte retentit (en tant que Kṛṣṇa) ; irréprochable, au-delà de tout blâme ; parfait en tous ses membres ; merveilleux par sa puissance divine ; ami de tous, par une compassion sans cause ; et présent à la fois comme le Vent et comme le Feu. »
