प्रयत: प्रातरुत्थाय यदधीये विशाम्पते । प्राज्जलि: शतरुद्रीयं तन््मे निगदत: शृणु
prayataḥ prātarutthāya yadadhīye viśāmpate | prāñjaliḥ śatarudrīyaṃ tan me nigadataḥ śṛṇu prajānātha ||
Vāyu dit : « Ô seigneur du peuple, chaque jour je me lève à l’aube, maître de mon esprit et de mes sens, et, les mains jointes, je récite et j’étudie le Śatarudrīya. Écoute, tandis que je te l’énonce à présent. »
