व्युष्टि ब्राह्मणपूजायां रौक्मिणेय निबोध मे । एते हि सोमराजान ईश्वरा: सुखदुःखयो:
vyuṣṭi brāhmaṇapūjāyāṃ raukmiṇeya nibodha me | ete hi somarājāna īśvarāḥ sukhaduḥkhayoḥ ||
Vāyu dit : «Ô fils de Rukmiṇī, apprends de moi l’ordre et la discipline qu’il convient d’observer en honorant les brahmanes. Car ceux-ci —les brahmanes, seigneurs du savoir sacré— sont véritablement comme des rois sous Soma : ils détiennent pouvoir sur la naissance du bonheur et de la souffrance.»
