Shloka 23
तदैव तु मया तस्य चित्तज्ञेन गृहे जनः । सर्वाण्यन्नानि पानानि भक्ष्याश्नोच्चावचास्तथा
tadaiva tu mayā tasya cittajñena gṛhe janaḥ | sarvāṇy annāni pānāni bhakṣyāśnoccāvacās tathā ||
Vāyu dit : «À cet instant même, puisque je lisais dans son esprit, j’avais déjà ordonné aux gens de la maison de préparer, avec respect et à l’avance, toutes sortes de mets et de boissons, ainsi que divers plats et friandises, de qualité supérieure comme moyenne. Tout était prêt selon mes directives ; aussi offris-je au sage du pāyasa bien chaud, fraîchement préparé.»
