अन्यानपि सूृजेयुश्न लोकॉल्लोकेश्वरांस्तथा । कथं तेषु न वर्तेरन् सम्यग् ज्ञानातू सुतेजस:
anyān api sṛjeyuś ca lokān lokeśvarāṃs tathā | kathaṃ teṣu na varteran samyag jñānāt sutejasaḥ ||
Vāyu dit : «Ils sont capables de faire naître d’autres mondes, et de même les souverains de ces mondes. Comment donc des hommes à la puissance rayonnante —connaissant justement, par une compréhension véritable, la grandeur des Brāhmaṇas— pourraient-ils ne pas se conduire comme il convient envers eux ?»
वायुदेव उवाच
True power is guided by right knowledge: those who understand the spiritual and social significance of Brāhmaṇas should naturally treat them with proper respect and correct conduct.
Vāyu argues by emphasizing the extraordinary capacities attributed to exalted beings—able to create worlds and their rulers—and concludes that such enlightened, powerful persons would not neglect proper behavior toward Brāhmaṇas once they truly know their importance.
