आदित्या: सत्रमासन्त सरो वै मानसं प्रति । वसिष्ठ॑ मनसा गत्वा ज्ञात्वा तत् तस्य गौरवम्,“एक समय देवताओंने वसिष्ठ मुनिके गौरवको जानकर मन-ही-मन उनकी शरण जाकर मानसरोवरके तटपर यज्ञ आरम्भ किया
Ādityāḥ satram āsanta saro vai Mānasam prati | Vasiṣṭhaṁ manasā gatvā jñātvā tat tasya gauravam ||
Bhīṣma dit : Les Ādityas tenaient une session sacrificielle sur la rive du lac Mānasarovara. Ayant reconnu la grandeur du sage Vasiṣṭha, ils s’approchèrent de lui avec une révérence intérieure et, honorant son éminence, commencèrent le rite en ce lieu.
