Shloka 10

त॑ ममानुग्रहकृते दातुमर्हस्यनिन्दित । अनुशासन्तु मां सनन्‍्तो मिथ्योद्वृत्तं त्वदाश्रयम्‌

taṁ mamānugrahakṛte dātum arhasy anindita | anuśāsantu māṁ santaḥ mithyodvṛttaṁ tvadāśrayam ||

Bhīṣma dit : «Ô toi qui es sans tache, tu dois m’accorder ce don afin de me témoigner ta faveur. Si jamais, prenant refuge en toi, je m’égare vers une conduite mensongère et perverse, que les hommes vertueux m’instruisent et me ramènent dans le droit chemin.»
