Transliteration

udīrṇaḥ sarvataś-cakṣuḥ anīśaḥ śāśvata-sthiraḥ | bhūśayaḥ bhūṣaṇaḥ bhūtiḥ viśokaḥ śoka-nāśanaḥ ||

Translation

Bhīṣma dit : Il est l’Exalté — il voit en toutes directions, n’est soumis à nul autre souverain, demeure éternellement stable et immuable. Il est Celui qui s’étendit sur la terre ; Celui qui pare le monde ; le fondement de toute prospérité et de toute puissance divine ; Lui-même sans chagrin, et le destructeur du chagrin de ceux qui se souviennent de Lui.
