भीष्मस्योत्तरायणप्रतीक्षा तथा युधिष्ठिरागमनम् | Bhīṣma’s uttarāyaṇa moment and Yudhiṣṭhira’s arrival
समादिष"्ट श्न विबुधैर्दर्शय त्वमिति प्रभो । सुपर्णो यस्य वीर्येण कश्यपस्यात्मजो बली । अन्तं नैवाशकद् द्रष्टं देवस्पथ परमात्मन:
samādiṣṭaś ca vibudhair darśaya tvam iti prabho | suparṇo yasya vīryeṇa kaśyapasyātmajo balī | antaṃ naivāśakad draṣṭuṃ devaspatha paramātmanaḥ ||
Autrefois, à la demande des dieux—«Ô Seigneur, montre-nous la fin (la limite) d’Ananta»—Garuḍa, le puissant fils de Kaśyapa, déploya toute sa force ; pourtant, même lui ne put voir la fin de cet Ananta divin, le Soi suprême, voie et refuge des dieux.
