कल्मषापहर-कीर्तनम् / Kīrtana for the Removal of Impurity
तत्रासौ विपुलैभोंगै: सर्वरत्नसमायुतः । यथार्हदाता चार्हेषु धर्मचर्यापरो भवेत्
tatrāsau vipulaibhoṅgaiḥ sarvaratnasamāyutaḥ | yathārhadātā cārheṣu dharmacaryāparo bhavet ||
Dans cette naissance, il est pourvu d’abondantes jouissances et paré de toutes sortes de gemmes précieuses. Il fait des dons convenables aux brahmanes dignes, selon ce qui leur est dû, et demeure voué à la pratique et à l’observance du dharma.
श्रीमहेश्वर उवाच
Prosperity is presented as a fruit of merit, but it is ethically framed: one who gains wealth and pleasures should use them in accordance with dharma—especially by giving appropriate gifts to worthy recipients and maintaining disciplined righteous conduct.
Maheśvara describes the outcome in a subsequent birth: the person becomes richly endowed with enjoyments and jewels, and his life is characterized by proper generosity toward the deserving and steadfast commitment to dharmic observance.
