Dāna–Tapaḥ Praśaṃsā and Gṛhastha-Upadeśa
Maitreya
अचिरेणैव कालेन कीट: पार्थिवसत्तम | प्रजापालनधर्मेण प्रेत्य विप्रत्वमागत:
acireṇaiva kālena kīṭaḥ pārthiva-sattama | prajā-pālana-dharmeṇa pretya vipratvam āgataḥ ||
Bhīṣma dit : «Ô le meilleur des rois ! En peu de temps, celui qui avait été un ver, pour avoir maintenu le devoir de protéger et de gouverner le peuple selon le dharma, mourut ; puis il obtint naissance dans une lignée de brāhmaṇas. Telle est la puissance du dharma du juste règne.»
