मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
अहिंसानिरतो नित्यं जुह्नमानो जातवेदसम् | षड्भिरेव स वर्षैस्तु सिध्यते नाज संशय:
ahiṃsā-nirato nityaṃ juhvamāno jātavedasam | ṣaḍbhir eva sa varṣais tu sidhyate nātra saṃśayaḥ ||
Bhīṣma dit : Celui qui demeure sans cesse voué à l’ahimsā et qui, chaque jour, verse des oblations dans Jātavedas (le feu sacré), obtient l’accomplissement spirituel en six ans seulement—il n’y a là aucun doute.
