मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
वह नीले और लाल कमलके समान अनेक रंगोंसे सुशोभित, मण्डलाकार घूमनेवाला, भँवरके समान गहन चक्कर लगानेवाला, सागरकी लहरोंके समान ऊपर-नीचे होनेवाला, विचित्र मणिमालाओंसे अलंकृत और शंखध्वनिसे परिपूर्ण सर्वोत्तम विमान प्राप्त करता है ।।
sphaṭikair vajrasāraiś ca stambhaiḥ sukṛtavedikam | ārohati mahad yānaṃ haṃsasārasanāditam ||
Bhishma dit : «Il obtient le meilleur vimāna : paré de multiples couleurs semblables au lotus bleu et au lotus rouge, tournoyant en cercles comme un mandala, creusant de profonds tourbillons comme un vortex, montant et descendant comme les vagues de la mer, orné de guirlandes de gemmes merveilleuses et rempli du son des conques. Il monte alors dans un grand char céleste, dont la plate-forme est façonnée avec art, soutenue par des piliers de cristal et des colonnes dures comme le diamant, et résonnant des cris des cygnes et des sārasas. Ainsi, par le mérite de sa conduite juste, il obtient un splendide véhicule aérien—image de la récompense raffinée que le dharma accorde au-delà de ce monde.»
