हंससारसयुक्तेन विमानेन स गच्छति
haṃsasārasayuktena vimānena sa gacchati
Aṅgiras dit : «Il s’avance dans un char céleste attelé de cygnes et de grues», image d’un passage exalté né du mérite, et non d’un simple déplacement du corps.
अंगियरा उवाच
The verse uses the imagery of a divine chariot drawn by auspicious birds to convey that righteous conduct and accumulated merit culminate in an elevated course of life (or post-life), marked by honor, purity, and a higher destination.
Aṅgiras describes the mode of travel/attainment of a certain person: he goes in a splendid vimāna harnessed with swans and cranes, a conventional epic sign of celestial favor and the fruition of virtue.
