Āloka-dāna (Dīpa-dāna), Sumanas–Dhūpa–Dīpa Phala: Manu–Suvarṇa and Śukra–Bali Exempla
सद्यः प्रीणाति देवान् वै ते प्रीता भावयन्त्युत । संकल्पसिद्धा मर्त्यानामीप्सितैश्व मनोरमै:
sadyaḥ prīṇāti devān vai te prītā bhāvayanty uta | saṅkalpasiddhā martyānām īpsitaiś ca manoramaiḥ ||
Śukra dit : En offrant des fleurs (dans le culte), l’homme réjouit aussitôt les dieux. Réjouis en retour, ces dieux — dont la volonté est efficace — font prospérer les desseins des mortels, leur accordant les jouissances désirées et charmantes qui soutiennent leur bien-être.
