Śama-prāptiḥ — Gautamī–Lubdhaka–Pannaga–Mṛtyu–Kāla-saṃvāda
Restraint through the Analysis of Karma and Time
कर्मदायादवॉल्लोक: कर्मसम्बन्धलक्षण: । कर्माणि चोदयन्तीह यथान्योन्यं तथा वयम्
karmadāyādavāl loko karma-sambandha-lakṣaṇaḥ | karmāṇi codayantīha yathānyonyaṃ tathā vayam ||
Le Temps dit : «Dans ce monde, le karma suit l’homme comme un héritier — tel un fils ou un petit-fils qui prolonge la lignée. Le karma est la marque par laquelle se reconnaît le lien avec le plaisir et la douleur. Ici, les actes se poussent l’un l’autre dans une suite réciproque ; de même, nous aussi, nous ne sommes mis en mouvement que par le karma.»
