लुब्धक उवाच कारणं यदि न स्याद् वै न कर्ता स्यास्त्वमप्युत । विनाशकारणं त्वं च तस्माद् वध्योडसि मे मतः
Translation
Le chasseur dit : «Serpent ! Quand bien même nous admettrions que tu n’es ni la cause ni l’auteur d’une faute, la ruine—la mort—de cet enfant est survenue par toi. C’est pourquoi, selon moi, tu mérites d’être mis à mort.»
