वैशम्पायन उवाच एवं पृष्टवा तु राजानं कुमारान्‌ पर्यपृच्छत । वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! राजासे इस प्रकार पूछकर उसने उन कुमारोंसे प्रश्न किया

Transliteration

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: evaṃ pṛṣṭvā tu rājānaṃ kumārān paryapṛcchat.

Translation

Vaiśampāyana dit : Après avoir ainsi interrogé le roi, il se mit ensuite à questionner aussi les princes—poursuivant l’enquête avec ordre, afin d’obtenir de tous les concernés un récit plus complet et plus responsable.
