ततः प्रादात् पिता कन््यां रुरवे तां प्रमद्वराम् । विवाहं स्थापयित्वाग्रे नक्षत्रे भगदैवते,तब पिताने अपनी कन्या प्रमद्वराका रुकुके लिये वाग्दान कर दिया और आगामी उत्तरफाल्गुनी नक्षत्रमें विवाहका मुहूर्त निश्चित किया
tataḥ prādāt pitā kanyāṃ rurave tāṃ pramadvarām | vivāhaṃ sthāpayitvāgre nakṣatre bhagadaivate ||
Alors le père de la jeune fille donna Pramadvārā en fiançailles à Ruru. Ayant ainsi préparé le mariage à l’avance, il fixa la cérémonie au moment propice de la constellation gouvernée par Bhaga (Uttaraphālgunī).
