Chapter 74: Non-anger, Forbearance, and the Ethics of Residence

सुनिकृष्टा च ते योनि: पुंश्वलीव प्रभाषसे । यदृच्छया कामरागाज्जाता मेनकया हासि,तुम्हारी जाति नीच है। तुम कुलटा-जैसी बातें करती हो। जान पड़ता है, मेनकाने अकस्मात्‌ भोगासक्तिके वशीभूत होकर तुम्हें जन्म दिया है

sunikṛṣṭā ca te yoniḥ puṁśvalīva prabhāṣase | yadṛcchayā kāmarāgāj jātā menakayā asi ||

Ta naissance est de basse condition, et tu parles comme une femme dévergondée. On dirait que Menakā t’a mise au monde par pur hasard, lorsqu’elle fut dominée par la passion du désir.
