Tapovana-praveśaḥ — The King’s Entry into the Sacred Grove and Vision of the Āśrama
त्रासयन्तो5भिनिध्नन्तः सर्वभूतगणांश्न ते । विचेरु: सर्वशो राजन् महीं शतसहसत्रश:,राजन! वे असुर लाखोंकी संख्यामें उत्पन्न हुए थे और समस्त प्राणियोंको डराते- धमकाते तथा उनकी हिंसा करते हुए भूमण्डलमें सब ओर घूमते रहते थे
trāsayanto 'bhinighnantaḥ sarvabhūtagāṇāṃś ca te | viceruḥ sarvaśo rājan mahīṃ śatasahasraśaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : Ô roi, ces êtres parcouraient la terre en tous sens par centaines de milliers, terrorisant toutes les catégories de créatures vivantes et les frappant à mort. Leur conduite, faite d’intimidation et de violence, répandait la peur et le désordre parmi les êtres.
