Garuḍa–Śakra Saṃvāda and the Retrieval of Amṛta (गरुड–शक्र संवादः अमृत-अपहरण-प्रसङ्गः)
स ततः शतसाहस्र॑ योजनान्तरमागत: । कालेन नातिमहता गरुड: पतगेश्वर:,पक्षिराज गरुड उसे लेकर थोड़ी ही देरमें वहाँसे एक लाख योजन दूर चले आये
sa tataḥ śatasāhasraṃ yojanāntaram āgataḥ | kālena nātimahatā garuḍaḥ patageśvaraḥ ||
Alors Garuḍa—seigneur des oiseaux—l’emporta et, en fort peu de temps, se trouva à la distance de cent mille yojanas de ce lieu.
कश्यप उवाच
The verse highlights steadfast effort and extraordinary capability directed toward a goal: when purpose is firm, even immense obstacles—symbolized by vast distance—can be overcome swiftly.
Kāśyapa describes Garuḍa moving rapidly: in a short time he travels one hundred thousand yojanas from the previous location, emphasizing his superhuman speed and power within the unfolding Garuḍa episode.
