सर्वे च ते वेदा: प्रतिभास्यन्ति सर्वाणि च धर्मशास्त्राणीति । एषा तस्यापि परीक्षोपमन्यो:,“तुम्हारी बुद्धिमें सम्पूर्ण वेद और सभी धर्मशास्त्र स्वतः स्फुरित हो जायँगे।” इस प्रकार यह उपमन्युकी परीक्षा बतायी गयी
sarve ca te vedāḥ pratibhāsyanti sarvāṇi ca dharmaśāstrāṇīti | eṣā tasyāpi parīkṣopamanyoḥ |
Rāma dit : «Tous les Veda brilleront clairement dans ton intelligence, et tous les traités du dharma (dharmaśāstra) de même.» Ainsi est rapportée l’épreuve (parīkṣā) d’Upamanyu.
