Vālakhilya-Tapas and the Birth of Garuḍa (वालखिल्यतपः-गरुडोत्पत्तिः)
प्रसन्नसलिलै श्वापि हदैर्दिव्यैर्वि भूषितम् । दिव्यगन्धवहै: पुण्यैमारुतैरुपवीजितम्,स्वच्छ जलवाले कितने ही दिव्य सरोवर उसकी शोभा बढ़ा रहे थे। दिव्य सुगन्धका भार वहन करनेवाली पावन वायु मानो वहाँ चँवर डुला रही थी
prasannasalilaiḥ śvāpī hradāir divyair vibhūṣitam | divyagandhavahaiḥ puṇyair mārutair upavījitam ||
Il était orné de lacs célestes aux eaux limpides et paisibles. Des brises pures, chargées de parfum divin, semblaient éventer ce lieu comme un chauri rituel, suscitant une atmosphère de sainteté, de bon augure et de paix intérieure plutôt que d’agitation mondaine.
