अश्रूणि मुमुचे तेषां दर्शनात् सा पुनः पुनः । एकैकश्येन तान् सर्वान् क्रोशमानान्वपद्यत,उन्हें बार-बार देखकर वह नेत्रोंसे आँसू बहाने लगी और बारी-बारीसे पुकारकर वह सभी बच्चोंसे मिली
aśrūṇi mumuce teṣāṃ darśanāt sā punaḥ punaḥ | ekaikaśyena tān sarvān krośamānān avapadyata ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : En les voyant, elle laissa couler des larmes encore et encore. Puis, l’un après l’autre, elle alla vers chacun de ces enfants qui criaient, répondant à leurs appels et les retrouvant tour à tour—sa douleur et son amour débordant dans la réunion.
